I have a new review: The I-35E Trail. This barely counts as a trail due to its large amount of on-road sections, but, for those who live in the neighborhood, it is worth knowing about. |

If I get on the Ms. river trail in Coon Rapids, would I be able to bike all the way to Edinborough Park in Edina without going on any roads?

Hi Judy -- The quick answer is no. But you can come pretty close! Thanks to the in-progress Nine Mile Creek Trail (http://www.threeriversparks.org/trails/nine-mile-creek-trail.aspx), which is complete through Richfield, the only roads you'd have to go on are either side streets or have bike lanes. Here's a route for you via Google maps: http://goo.gl/maps/ctyLP. Once the Intercity Trail is built, your ride will be made easier (see http://www.threeriversparks.org/about/planning-and-construction/construction-projects.aspx).

Hi There - Sorry to leave a comment like this, but wasn't sure how else to get a hold of you. I was wondering if we could use the images you have of the Lake Minnetonka LRT on our website - www.conservationminnesota.org. We have a favorite places section and someone put this trail as their favorite place and we wanted to include some pictures. Let me know what you think.

Hi Tracy -- I should totally put a contact form on this website so that people like you can write me more easily. Putting my images on your site is perfectly fine as long as you write "image courtesy Metro Bike Trails Guide" in fine print somewhere near the picture (or on the picture via an editing program). Thanks very much for asking! -- Seamus
